Brett Thompson

Mobility & Movement Coach
  • Bachelor of Science (Exercise Physiology)      – University of Arizona
  • Exercise Specialist – Arizona Rehab Centre
  • Cert III & IV in Fitness
  • Pre and Post Natal Training
  • Institute of Motion Mentorship Lvl 1 & 2
  • Rehab Trainer Lvl 1
  • ZUU Lvl 1 & 2 Certified Trainer
  • Effective Movement Training
  • Boxing for Fitness Lvl 1
  • TRx, ViPR, Sandbell Certified Trainer

Brett’s biggest passion is helping people move better, whether it is for daily activity, to perform better or stay injury free. Brett knows that after years of gruelling training, the body should be trained to move freely using three-dimensional multi-level movement, not smashing it until you can’t move. There is a place for training hard, but the body needs to be in the right shape and functional capability to perform consistently at that level.

Brett has a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences majoring in Exercise Physiology from the University of Arizona and spent 3 years an exercise specialist for a rehab facility in Arizona. Brett has established a successful personal training career over 8 years with several mainstream fitness providers.

In his youth, Brett was a competitive tennis player and a keen in-line and ice hockey player. More recently, Brett trained and competed in triathlons. Initially, it was something that he just did for fun, progressing over the years to the Age Group World Championships in Hamburg, Germany then continuing to half ironman and full ironman distances.

Having lived, studied and trained internationally, Brett has experienced different cultures, ideas and training structures. Brett has trained and worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds from professional athletes to those who haven’t been active for many years. With different goals; from training for big events, sports specific, losing weight and improving fitness, Brett knows how to get the best out of every-body.
